A Little About Me
I studied massage at the Florida College of Natural Health in Miami were I graduated in November of 97. I continued at Florida College to study advanced massage techniques in a 300 hr medical massage course offered for graduate students. At that time I began working at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa averaging five massages a day.. This gave me the experience I sought, and helped build upon my understanding of the body. In October of 2001 I left Doral for a new spa, TanSolaire, which was opening in Coconut Grove. I worked at TanSolaire for almost six years before deciding in June of 2007 to venture out on my own. In January 2008 I established Total Massage Solutions Inc. which I renamed to Massage Choices Inc, with the dream expanding the massage therapy profession. I have been a professional member of AMTA and the FSMTA, as well as nationally certified and a past member of the International Massage Association. I offer services as far north as Pembroke Pines, Hollywood, Miramar, and Weston, as far south as Kendall, Pinecrest, and to the east Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne and Miami Beach.
How I Approach a Massage Session
I bring everything that is needed with me. This includes all the massage equipment and supplies, as well as additional items such as music and candles. You can expect me to arrive on time, well groomed, and in professional attire. Having a professional background, I am efficient and courteous.
Most Importantly
Like my manner, my massage is very professional, but I like to think of massage as an art rather than a science, and as in any art, it’s the whole composition that achieves the desired effect. My massage session is a culmination of different elements coming together to form one complete relaxing experience. I combine elements from many different styles into one complete body work which soothes and relaxes the mind and body while eliminating toxins. By combining deep tissue techniques with a rhythm of gentle rocking, waves of soothing effleurage and petrissage strokes, and utilizing assisted stretching, I have developed a unique style that takes you to a state of euphoric drowsiness while loosening tense muscles and increasing your body’s flexibility. It is this combination of slow rhythmic massage, expressed with a deep passion and pride in the work, all done to specifically designed music, that brings forth the feeling of intense well being and deep relaxation that follows every session.
